Happy Engagement Day.

Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here to share a clean and simple card. My lovely sister and her fiancé had an engagement party and I created this card to mimic their likeness. I colored these images from The Greeting Farm with Copic Markers, die cut the gold glitter cardstock for the background, and punched a simple golden heart.

Unbelievably Awesome Holiday

Hi crafty friends, I hope you've been having a great week.
I'm here to share a fun card with you today.

Using stamps and die cuts from  Mama Elephant
I've created this "Unbelievably awesome holiday" card.

I hope this card inspires you and gives you some good ideas
on how to use these fun new stamp sets from Mama Elephant.

Items used from the 7kids store:

Mama Elephant Creative Cuts-Hillside Cover

Altered Frame

Hello and welcome to 7 Kids Your Crafting Store Blog!
I am pulling gift ideas together for you and your new wishlist!
Yes!  We now have a wishlist on the store for you to share or keep to yourself. Just pick out products that you love and share it with a friend, family, husband, sibling, or more subtle, your facebook page!  They can purchase off your wishlist and you will be so happy when you receive an awesome gift from the 7 Kids Store!  Go check it out here at 7Kids Your Crafting Supply Store!

I love the gorjuss girls round postcards, they are so rich in color and slight glitter in person!  I decided  to get a floating frame and put them on my wall as decoration, also a great GIFT idea for you!
Of course I cannot leave the frame blank I had to alter it with Finnabair products and any junk I could find.

This was very easy to create. Gather your metals, charms, cardboard, beads, Finnabair art basics black gesso, Finnabair rust effects paste, Prima Art Alchemy Turquoise Satin Wax, and Frank Garcia Memory Hardware Trianon Patina Artisian Powder.

If you like you can use your own colors.  Glue on all your trinkets and fill in the frame as much as you want.  Paint Black Gesso onto the entire frame and let it dry.  Then go over it with the rust paste colors lightly brushing here and there.

Then apply the Artisian powder anywhere you like to give it the blue-green patina look.  After that finish with highlighting the objects with the wax.  You can go over all this several times until you are happy.

I just dabbed the paints, powder and wax around with small paint brushes and my finger.  Sometimes when I would go back over the objects it gave a different color.  When the frame is all dry I glued on my trinkets or charms that I did not want painted so it made a contrast.

Then I cleaned up the glass, put the 3 post cards into the frame, and broke the corner, lol  Oh well stuff happens, still looks great! lol
Sorry for the glare on the glass.

I hope you try this and make a gift for someone in your family or yourself.  It is easy and will take some time to complete. Very fun and unique frame that no one else will have.

Every day the design team posts the most beautiful creations for your pleasure, we hope you are inspired and join us in sharing your amazing creations!

Tomorrow a 25% off Sale starts in the store!

Wishing you all a fabulous day!

Forget brains, I want candy!

Amy here with my Tuesday 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store card. Last week I finally got my hands on the Magic Color Slider die set from Lawn Fawn and I couldn't wait to try my hand at something new. So I grabbed the super cute Trick or Treat stamp set from TGF and settled on the zombie boy for the magic little scene. I knew that I would need to use Staz On ink for stamping on the transparency layer but when I dug out my old ink pad I was bummed to find it completely dry! To say it had been a few years since I'd used it would be an understatement, LOL! Unfortunately I don't have a local craft store that I can run and pick up a new ink pad at so I had to make do with my Versafine onyx black but I had to let it sit overnight and set it with a heat gun before it wouldn't smear. Needless to say, Staz On ink will be at the top of my shopping list so that I have an easier time on the next magic color slider card that I make. Other than that little mishap I have to say that this die set made the whole process super quick and easy. Bonus points as it makes me look and feel craftier than I actually am too! ;)

Now don't forget the monthly challenge, there is plenty of time to get creative and enter in for a chance to win the $20 gift certificate!
Just pull the tab and...

Kraftin' Kimmie Smarty Pants

Happy beautiful Monday! It's Joni here with a card that I created for this month's Anything Goes Challenge, using the adorable Kraftin' Kimmie Smarty Pants set:

Isn't he just the cutest little guy? I colored him with Copics, using the no line technique. I had some patterned paper with these little clipboards, so I cut one out and used a sentiment from the set:

I hope you all plan on joining in on the challenge fun! You have until November 7th, for your chance to win a $20 gc to the store. Woohoo!
Thank you for coming by the blog today, have a wonderful rest of your Monday, friends!
